For me, making films has been a blessing. With a camera, a computer, and an extremely talented partner in Valantis, I have been able to share my interpretations of my experiences with the world. Whether it's an office party anecdote, a frappé spilt on a waitress, or another day on the court, I will always draw inspiration from everything around me, and make it a point to share what I see and how I understand it.
Ultimately, I aim to make a contribution. Since it is my surroundings that leave an imprint on me, I intend to leave an imprint on my surroundings.
I never wanted to be a filmmaker. When I was in high school, I always jumped at the opportunity to make a video project in class, but that was because I didn't want to do real work, and I did not consider my obscure video interpretations of classic literature real work. Little did I know, I soon would be a filmmaker, and I still don't consider it real work.
